Volunteer

The Cultural Cup Food Bank is a 100% ALL volunteer organization.
The Director and Program Manager are unpaid staff who make sure all aspects of the food bank run smoothly and efficently in order to provide quality service to the community. Our doors remain open solely because of private donations.
We thank all those Individuals and Groups who volunteer their time and effort to help the food bank.

Our Volunteer Resources:.
AARP;Provides Senior volunteers through their 'Senior Employment Program'.
MAXIMUS;Provides volunteers from DES, to complete required hours.
MARICOPA COURTS;Person needing community service hours in lieu of paying fines.(*See below restrictions*)
VETERANS Office;Provides Veteran volunteers for their "Work Experience Program".
Desert Industries;Provides volunteers through their 'Employment Program'.

*DRESS CODE: All persons must wear hard shoes, no open toes or sandals. No tank tops, no short-shorts or reveling clothing allowed. Dress casual work.

Print *Volunteer applications: Bring completed application with you to the food bank. *Please call 24 hrs in advance to check if help is needed.*

*Restrictions for Community Service: All persons with Court ordered or Probation ordered community service must call at least three days prior to "proposed" start date. We will give a maximum of 20 work hours; you must allow enough time to complete your hours before your due date. If you require more than 20 hours, it is up to the Director or Program Manager to make those arrangements. *Please bring your court papers, pink slip or yellow slip and a completed application with you to the food bank. *

***We Reserve the Right to REFUSE/FIRE volunteers based on our "NO Drugs, Alcohol, Guns, Gang Affiliation, Violence, Improper Language/Behavior, Gossiping, Stealing, Abuse, Laziness in,on or near These Premises!" policy.***
